JACO Lightning Presta Schrader Valves Review

I bought this and replaced a Schrader nozzle on an old blower with a 3ft PVC hose and some quick disconnects. A little overkill, but that's all I had for spares. The fitting will let air through when you attach it to the presta valve, but since you're probably going to inflate the tire anyway, I don't see that as a big issue. deal with it. 0 for 2 This is the quality I got in a box of 2 pneumo cartridges. One leaked so hard my electric pump could barely keep up. The other would not engage the Schrader valve no matter how hard I tried to push and turn the knurled ring; it just kept popping up. And yes, I made sure the ring was set to "S" (Schrader) for both. I use it on two different compressors. They're much easier to swap between Presta and Schrader valves than most hand pumps you buy. They are also very easy to apply and remove with little or no air loss. I have tried many different types of ammo for my bike as it is very difficult to get at and hold the ammo. I'm fed up with the cheap plastic filler head on my air compressor tire. It didn't seal well and it was difficult to set the exact air pressure in my Presta valved bike tires. This cartridge is all metal and appeared to be of better quality and more durable. It takes a bit of training to use properly, but it comes with good full-color instructions.
