I bought this primarily to store kayaks in the back of my truck. I have used them several times so far and they have worked well. The ratchet works smoothly and was easy to let go. It was my first time using a ratchet and it was very easy to use.

Great straps to include in my current projects around the house. These are the second ties I have bought from JACO and I am very happy with their quality. They control tension and release very gently, providing a strong and secure hold. Ratchet straps with this load capacity cost twice as much and half the quality in the hardware store. I bought these harnesses for my large Ruff Land kennel and they work great! Also, my dog is a 75 lb, 9 month old Pitbull German Shepherd mix and the size of the large kennel is great for car trips in case anyone is wondering about the size of the kennel. He can't fully straighten his legs but he can sit and lie down comfortably and I'm sure he won't be shaking from behind and will be safe.
