Cable and case work properly. The problem I had was insufficient shifter cable jacketing for the bike, requiring jacketing from both derailleurs to both derailleurs. The lack of a cable housing forced me to use an old housing and I'm not keen on it. So I have to buy additional apartments. Lesson Learned: Before you buy, measure how much cable housing you need.

That's right, cable covers don't come in pro versions, but in sport versions. But I saw the specific description and photos and knew what I was getting. Maybe the title could be changed but I don't think it deserves a star. The intended length of the brake housing was sufficient for the rear wheel mount and front disc brakes. The shifter cables and body also look quite long. Overall happy with my purchase.

I bought this set when I was replacing a mountain bike style handlebars with a banana style bike. All 4 cables had to be replaced. Other reviews saying the bodywork isn't long enough would probably only be true if you had a bike that didn't have exposed cable sections and had the bodywork running the full length. These cables were installed for extra length when I increased the handlebar height on my old Diamondback bike. Installation took several hours, and a parting tool was used to trim the segments. When cutting, wrap the inner cables with tape to keep them from unraveling. This will make it easier to attach the end caps and crimp when you're done. really good set! I used this on my Trek 820 mountain bike (I really only use it for the trails/beach. It has a triple speed in the front and a 7 speed in the rear). Jagwire brake and shift cables offer excellent value for money. $25 for 4 cables. These aren't the best "PRO" cables that will set you back $65 for all 4. They are mid-range and sufficient. Not a 5 star rating as they must include 2 more shifter housing ends. I assume nobody has a bike mechanic because if they did they would know that on 80% of most MTBs the rear shifter cable has 3 separate housings that could use 6 of the 8 shifter cable ends.
