🔧 JAGWIRE MOUNTAIN SHOP KIT - Shifter/Derailleur Cable and Housing Kit Review

I have always used Jagwire to convert my bikes and it has never let me down. This party is no exception. It fits perfectly with my Ultegra/DuraAce kit, the tips are true to size, looks great! They feel a little stiffer than other OEM cables I've used and the ones he's replaced, but that's what you expect from shifter cables so they don't stretch and ghost shift.

Saving space requires me to leave my bike outside from time to time, and that has a terrible impact on many of its moving parts. I had no idea it would damage my shifter but it did. The wires were corroding and wearing out and no longer running through the cases like they should. This replacement kit is very easy to install and noticeably improves shifting. I can't explain it, but it just seems smoother, at least when upgrading from broken junk.

This is a good price per kit compared to Jagwire's retail kit, but note that the product description says 'All end caps and cables required. Notes" but it doesn't say it only comes with 8 lugs, while many bikes need 10 lugs to fully replace a shifter cable. Of course you can see the number on the picture and it was answered in the FAQ, but the product description does really needs to be updated to include the number and let's be honest here these are plastic end caps will it really destroy…

Came with enough body to completely drain the bike for derailleur and derailleur. The cable was more than enough for both and is a very good cable too. Pros: High quality cable. High quality body.
