Precise and Efficient Hose Cutter

Through trial and error, I found that this hose cutter was worth its weight in gold. It makes clean, precise cuts on any hose size, saving me time and frustration during bike repairs. The durable blades stayed sharp even after multiple uses. My only complaint is that it's a bit pricey compared to other options on the market.

Pros
  • Precise, efficient cuts
Cons
  • Pricey compared to alternatives.

Extra blade and instructions included, powerful tool and fun to work with.

Just put these Magura MT5e brakes on this frame. It was great to use the cutting tool. The tubing is inserted directly into the slot and the blade of a precision knife cuts the tubing very cleanly and straight. The tool itself lies well in the hand and cuts with little effort. You can get a crooked cut if you don't hold the line straight in the slot. Just make sure you get a good vertical grip. I suggest not cutting the tube on the bike, but if you have to, be careful. Overall a great product.

Pros
  • cool item
Cons
  • I have a problem

It's good to have the right tool for the job

It's nice to have the right tool for the job. My first attempt at shortening hydraulic brake lines didn't go smoothly. Long story short, I pinched part of the needle, unable to bleed, pushed air through and blew out the seals. Yes, it was a brand new Magura MT7, $150 down the drain. So after a tantrum and a major bout of depression, the dust settled and I decided to pick up the pieces and write it off as learning by doing. For round two, I decided to find the right tools for me, so I bought…

Pros
  • Hands-free working
Cons
  • Quality
