Installed it on our caravan in about 30 minutes. It didn't fit perfectly right out of the box, but it was fairly easy to cut with metal snips. The width was perfect, and the length only needed a quarter inch trimming in small increments. There were only 6 zip ties in the package, two per screen. This is the second time I buy this item because we bought a new camper. The fit on them seems much better than the last time I installed the set. I didn't have to cut. The only downside which is not JCJ's fault is that the new Dometic lids have additional smaller vents on the sides and I had to buy 4 extra sets of these smaller vents because I have 2 access panels on my new fridge and 6 small vents each Cover. JCJ also sells these smaller vents but they only come in packs of 3 so I had to buy 4
