Five stars does not necessarily mean 'perfect': The pre-drilled screw holes are not countersunk, so the screws cannot be fully seated flush with the Surface of the panels (the material is not real wood and if you try to screw them in deeper and deeper you can easily clean the holes). After reading all the good reviews I got this GE 12,000 BTU AC window mount. I live in an apartment in New York and wanted to make sure the AC unit was supported. My windows are new, made of aluminium, the window sill is made of concrete/brick on the outside. If you have a window air conditioner, you'll probably need this little shelf. It's about 5 inches wide or so, which means you should install it in the middle.
