I definitely recommend removing the grille during installation to ensure all clamps are secure. *** TIP: When installing inserts, start from the bottom and ensure they are fully seated in the groove of the grate opening. I am very happy with their appearance. The product is fairly easy to install. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. The adhesive pads didn't stick in all cases and the last one I installed on the driver's side doesn't snap into place when pressed due to the engine design. There is a part that blocks the page.
