Very easy to fit and a great accessory when you're looking for a spare tyre. The material is well covered and very durable. Must have been light in Michigan the last few winters. Should have thought about painting it the color of the pint.

Don't buy if you have a roof on your jeep. This dose does not allow sufficient cabin pressure. Your doors don't close properly and your fan barely gets air into the jeep because the air can't get out. I sent this plate back and bought a vented one.

Received very quickly. The product was of better quality than I expected. However, as stated in the description, it had no slits in the middle. You don't need to add any spacers or washers between the panel and the tailgate, so your air conditioner will still be ventilated. Overall very happy with this purchase.

When I removed the spare wheel holder because I had a new bumper with tire holder, this ugly hole and vent hole remained. The spare tire removal plate is great! It's durable and clean looking. I simply used the hardware from my spare tire carrier to install it. I only needed a few minutes.

Haven't had time to install it yet but wanted to provide feedback on product quality, packaging and speed of delivery. The product arrived in two days. The goods were well packaged and had no damage. The removal is very permanent. This is no small thing at all! It has a nice even coat of paint and looks great. I'm sure installation will be easy as all that is required is to remove the rod holder and use the existing screws to attach the new distance.

It was exactly what I was looking for. The problem is that I didn't realize that what I was looking for wasn't quite right. They fit perfectly, seem to be made out of pretty decent material, well painted. The problem is that they have no ventilation and they match the rear vent perfectly, forcing the air to exit the other way. On my Jeep, that means through the door seals in the driver's side window. If you are looking to remove the stock spare wheel carrier then this is for you. It's just a black square panel that sits over the air vents and opens into the tailgate. This gives your Jeep tailgate a nice clean and finished look. The product was well packed. Packed in polyethylene and also in a cardboard box. The fit was perfect. All holes aligned correctly.
