As a result of using these speakers, I found that they produce clear and powerful sound that enhances my boating experience. They are perfect for any vessel, with a sleek design that fits seamlessly into any interior or exterior. The only drawback I have encountered is that the installation process can be a bit tricky if you're not familiar with wiring speakers. Overall, I highly recommend these speakers for any marine enthusiast looking to upgrade their sound system.

If replacing these speakers, ensure the speaker hole meets the speaker cutout specifications. The mounting holes are 3/16", maybe 1/4" from the outside edge of the hole. Very fine tolerance if the hole is larger than the cutout specification. I had to drill new mounting holes on the outer edge of the speaker to attach it to the fiberglass. Nevertheless, only 3 screws could be used for attachment.

I replaced my Clarion speakers in my boat with these (independent experts say they were great) and also bought a subwoofer because I thought they would be a bit tinny Clarions. After installing and listening to them, I canceled my subwoofers. They sound crystal clear with lots of bass. I couldn't be happier - highly recommend!
