My favorite ratchet now

I didn't start driving cars until I got a 'free' jeep last year. I quickly realized that I needed a lot of $$$ for some basic stuff. Well I've tried Duralast, Husky and Craftsman and they are light years ahead of me in terms of feel and performance. I look forward to their expansion into the hand tool market.

Good ratchet, best of all sockets

This review relates to a JERIUM 3/8 ratchet which we received from Revain two days later in perfect condition. This tool I think looks and feels very similar to my trusty Artisan Wrench of yesteryear. The weight is also similar, can't speak to the years of service it will offer, but if there are any issues I'd be happy to update this review. I am by no means a professional mechanic.

This is a fine-toothed ratchet for very heavy duty applications.

This is a fine toothed ratchet that comes in handy when you need to remove a fastener in a very tricky spot. For a 3/8" ratchet, it is very heavy. On the back there is a small toggle lever for switching from cocking to releasing that is easy to operate with one finger. There is also a socket release button on the back. The nut will open the ratchet holds it in place until it is about to loosen. It has a nice shiny finish. And best of all it is very reasonably priced. It feels like the one I got

Great 90 tooth ratchet - well built, solid

My poor old Craftsman ratchet is jealous because this one is better. It has a good socket ejector that uses both shank and ball lock at the push of a button. Nicely finished, well built. An operation with 90 teeth is very good and will have a positive value in difficult situations. I am very glad I have this ratchet as it is the most commonly used ratchet size in my workshop - it will find many uses. It's a JER-iffic wrench!

I've used this on several projects - one on my truck, one on my mower and one with bolts in a 4x4 block of wood. This ratchet looks very well made. I like the way the head is constructed as I had to pump it a few times and it worked fine. - I put STRONG pressure on it and it still works great. Having 90 teeth is good because you can't always turn it all the way. Overall I'm very impressed. I prefer rubber keys. The grip, but that's not the product's fault.
