The tip of the blade broke off after two cuts!

I've had this nozzle for about 6 months but never used it until recently. The feed and speed for the parts to be cut were within parameters for this drill, and the tip had just separated from the drill after the second pass. I bought this racquet based on its great reviews and it seems like I'm one of the few people having issues with this racquet, but the results don't lie and I can't say I had a good experience with it.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Good but not great

My attention to detail

I design in Vectric Aspire which allows me to carve 3D reliefs. This beat is my third tool and goes where the bigger beats can't. On this 10" pot pan, I first used a .25 end mill, a .25 ball end mill, and then a jerrey bit. (followed by 60 degree vbit for the font and 0.25em for the clipping). I use an eight percent step and it works great. However, this takes a while, since the 8% gradient with the 1mm drill is just slow. Machine time is typically 2 hours at 60 ipm.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • volume

Great for detailed CNC tapping

I use this attachment for fine detail work on my hobby CNC machine. Vectric Aspire is my design software and I have an Inventables X-Carve CNC. Rather than creating all my own designs, I often download designs from the Vectric Design and Make website. Of course you have to pay for the design, but I couldn't just make it myself. Once uploaded, you must specify the "tool" (CNC router) that will be used to cut the full design. This usually requires the use of a larger 3/16" or 1/4" end mill to…
