was looking for a cheap kit to convert the engine q. This kit had all the necessary components at a price many times cheaper than local parts stores.

Buyers beware this carburetor kit doesn't come with float needle hanger, most carburetor kits come with needle hanger but this one doesn't, I had to buy it separately after as I have this kit, but other than that it's a good recovery kit

This is for Dave from a previous review or anyone else with a 1978 and up G-Jet. Make sure you order the correct kit and you will receive an air horn seal. You should buy Jet 201004 for any 1966-78 M4 Q-Jet since you have a 1975. If you need a 1979-up M4 kit, get this 201003 jet.

This kit did not include a horn seal for my 1975 Quadrajet. I assume it will work if you are rebuilding a JET carburetor. To their credit they include several different gasket options, but unfortunately none of them fit my particular Q-Jet. You must reuse the spring from your old accelerator pump. This includes a new needle and seat, but no fuel filter. All parts appear to be of good quality.

Spoke to Jet about why the M4 kit didn't fit my 1987 marine carb. He told me the marine carburetors were old 4M carburetors (the description says pre 1978) and that I had ordered the wrong set. This information is very difficult to find online and the picture of the 4M kit is exactly the same as the M4 kit which does not help when ordering the correct kit.
