Description of Jetech Dr Inch Impcat Socket

Cr-Mo ALLOY STEEL - Cr-Mo impact socket features with added strength, higher working temperatures and corrosion resistance. It's much stronger to stand greater impact force than chrome vanadium ones. COLD FORGING & HEAT TREATMENT - Cold forging and heat treatment greatly improve the performance of the socket with enhanced hardness, increased wear-resistance and lifespan. 6-POINT SOCKET OPENING - 6-point design provides an exact and snug fit, allowing it to apply more torque on the fasteners and avoid slipping off. RADIUS CORNER DESIGN - The lifespan of both the fastener and socket will be greatly prolonged with the torque distributed to the inwall. BLACK PHOSPHATING - A fine and dense coating brings more corrosion and wear resistance for longtime use.

Socket too wide to remove Rheem gas water heater anode rod

Sturdy construction but too wide to fit the hole in the top of the Rheem Performance Platinum Gas Water Heater Model #XG50T12HE4U0 to remove the anode rod. So I need to buy another 1-1/16" head with a 3/4" drive that isn't as wide for the job. Incidentally, the shaft width is not listed at Revain. For those wondering when I measured it at home it was 1-5/8 inches.

Pros
  • 6-POINT CONNECTION HOLE - 6-point design provides an accurate and tight fit, allowing more torque to be applied to fasteners and preventing slippage.
Cons
  • Periodicity
