This product is commercially reliable, slides well and is easy to install. They are holding two 29 inch monitors, my coffee mug and I are leaning on them. I built a bar table and it was perfect. They move the desktop forward about 3-4 inches.

They don't seem to have much lift at all. They don't even open fully, nothing sticks to them. You still have to open them manually. You will most likely be sent back.

I plan to use it soon but I don't know when. I got them because I wanted something that pops straight up instead of up and front. From what I can see they still need some headroom to move forward, but very little compared to similar products I've found. I need something more compact.

Terribly cheap sling option. I usually always buy a different brand but these looked cool thought it might be worth a try. They don't work properly, very difficult to open and close. Don't waste your money. Other top brands for the same price or just a few dollars more and you get a much better product than this. Poorly finished and built.

Will buy a second set. We make an extendable coffee table and use it as an extension. So when we decide to play card games, we simply raise the table that splits and put in a bet to increase the width. My wife and I love doing projects together and that's another part of our bond. After the table is ready we will post photos. We need to sand, paint and seal before adding the second set.

I bought a pair of these hinges to raise the top (32" x 20") of a bench that I use to service my guitar. They installed fairly easily. Some people complain that no screws are included. But they won't necessarily know what screw length you need. So I didn't see any downside. If you have access to the underside where the hinges go, installation is easy.
