Disappointing Industrial Drill Bit

The Jobber Carbide Tipped Standard 50386 did not perform well in my industrial and scientific setting. Based on my observations, the bit quickly dulled and struggled to make clean cuts in tougher materials .While the initial price was reasonable, the cost of frequent replacements outweighs the savings. On the positive side the bit did fit securely in my drill. Unfortunately, that is not enough to make up for its lackluster performance..

Pros
  • Secure fit in drill
Cons
  • Quick dulling, poor cutting ability

Great Quality Industrial Drill Bit

This Industrial and Scientific drill bit is amazing for my DIY projects. Through trial and error, I found that it produces really fast and precise holes, which is exactly what i need for my cutting tools. This jobber carbide tipped drill bit exceeded my expectations in terms of durability.Although it's a little pricier than some other cutting tools I think it`s worth the price for the quality. The only con for me is that it's not suitable for use with wood..

Pros
  • Extremely durable carbide tipped blade for precision cuts.
Cons
  • May require special equipment or expertise to properly install and use.

Cracked 5th hole in Power Drill Parts & Accessories

I had a simple 80/20 extrusion project and decided I would buy a good new nozzle to keep the job running smoothly. What should have been an easy task for a new drill turned out to be anything but. Drill guide - check, lubrication - check, hole 1, slower than expected, same for the next few holes. Halfway through the 5 ping hole the drill is gone. Swap the drill out for an old (20+ year old) drill bit I had on hand and quickly finish the remaining 40 or so holes. Very disappointing, I don't know

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive
