Very nice accessory with case

I was a little surprised by the price at first, but when it arrived I quickly understood why. Very high quality product with storage case and spare? Teeth. I have a smaller adjustable hole saw with a dust cover that I bought at one of the big hardware stores, but it only works up to six inches and isn't nearly as good as this one. I think it cost $30. This cost $90. Not the greatest value but I don't mind paying for quality.

Pros
  • Power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • Expensive

Cuts holes larger than 8 inches

I don't understand all the comments about the cordless drill not working. It works just fine! I cut four holes in the ceiling for the surround speakers (I chose this model because Sonos' architectural speakers require an 8-1/4" cut-out) in about 5 minutes. And it worked great with my Dewalt 20v cordless drill. You need to turn it fast and cut it slowly (maybe 10 seconds in drywall). But there is no mess and the hole is perfect! I highly recommend this tool!

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • New competition has arrived

It works, but the instructions could be clearer.

This is a well made accessory. Yes, you need a drill with the right amount of torque, but what jack-of-all-trades or DIYer spending $80 on that hole saw doesn't own a modern cordless drill with massive torque? My non-fuel 18v Milwaukee had no problems with it. A side handle would definitely help stabilize it, but I still haven't had any issues. My only criticism is that what seemed like a logical way to set the size - on the flat (outer) side of the blade - is actually wrong; You need to remove

Pros
  • Power Tool Parts and Accessories
Cons
  • No Machine
