out of specification

They appear to be well made, but the quarter inch female NPT thread is not up to spec. Everything I've tried investing in them fits in about 1 thread.

Pros
  • operating temperature range -53 to +121 degrees.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Clean and properly selected threads

That's how they should be. All threads were clean and undamaged and fitted perfectly. Ordering from Revain was easier than going to the store and looking for what I needed.

Pros
  • Size: 1/2" male NPT x 1/8" female NPT.
Cons
  • Little things

Used to adapt the gas line to the dryer: solved my unique problem

My new dryer had a 3/8" NPT fitting, which is a typical size, and the gas valve on the wall had a 1/2" NPT male connector. If I were more careful I would buy the correct gas line with the correct fittings on each end or at least reduce the 1/2" NPT male thread to a 3/8" NPT male thread on the wall to match it with the Gas to connect pipe. Line. Realizing my mistake, I went on a search and found this rare combination, and it worked like clockwork. I have four more of these now, which will…

Pros
  • Hex socket to connect two different diameter pipes.
Cons
  • Expensive
