They're great for devices

They're great. For real. Make sure you order the correct type. I ordered an insert to add to a Kreg jig and was confused. Then I got it. They have surprisingly good instructions. They are light but not flimsy. I was about to build an elaborate brace to hold the door in place when I thought it might be worth just trying to hold it up. Light. The setting was easy and the slightly crooked door looked great. A few years ago I was traumatized putting in all new cabinet doors in a DIY kitchen…

Replaced the existing hinges and they are so much better

When one of the hinges on my sectional sofa's console cover broke I looked at the hinge and didn't expect to find a replacement. There were so many similar but not the same. When I stumbled across these I saw that they were 4 pack for $12-13 and I expected them to work but probably not the same quality. My corner sofa was definitely higher quality and I was hoping it would fit. I've just replaced the hinges and was amazed to see that they not only matched, but used the same attachment points…

Cheaply made but profitable.

Not the best workmanship - plates and cups are stamped steel, edges are rough, usability is ambiguous. But they're cheap as dirt and they get the job done. I wouldn't use them for a client who pays a lot of money, but they're good for projects where you need to save money and aren't trying to impress. I have used them for shop cabinets and set cabinets and as I said they did the job. But without the verve that one would expect from good craftsmanship. Also, and importantly, the instructions…

Don't go to the hardware store. Just get these!

All the cabinet doors under the double sink in the master bathroom were poorly fitted with the cheapest hinges carelessly screwed to the front of the frame. Screws began to fall out and hinges to bend (yes, so cheap). Frustrated, I went to our local hardware store to find internal mount soft close hinges (sorry if I'm wrong on all counts - I'm a techie and totally new to the world of DIY household). The loops are over $6 each! Shocked, I left empty-handed. Instead I decided to search online and
