Faux wicker will hold up better than wood. Cute and very easy to install. A great size for an adult bike as well! The basket may make it difficult to lock the bike securely!

I LOVE this basket! It's a perfect fit for my adult trike and holds what I need like water, dog dish/bowl, towel, snack, etc. I was going to get one that was a bit bigger tho am so glad I got this slightly smaller size instead as it's really the best for my needs and is great quality too! Very pleased with this product. My dog weighs 10lbs so she rides in the back basket. I wouldn't put her in the basket and even tho I think this basket says it can hold up to 10lbs I'd not want to squeeze her…

This basket has held up well and I live in Florida where the sun normally destroys things within months. We've had it so long the kid has moved up to a bigger bike yet the basket's still solid. That's impressive because the kid carried around water bottles, rocks, and who knows what else in that thing!

As pictured and is a great size for the 24" bicycle. Large enough to fit a small instrument to take to school but not too big for the bike.

This may sound silly, but I really wanted a place to put my phone (and maybe a few other things) when riding my bike! This does the trick! The size is not too big, the basket seems sturdy, and it went on my bike easily.

Basket was purchased for my own use on my bike. I am a small person so I bought a 24 inch bike and it happened to be a girl's bike, so I needed a basket that was not too big to make the bike right. Happy with the product. Solid construction.

Perfect basket. Glad I listened to other reviews and got this junior size rather that a larger basket. It holds all I need it to without being obtrusive.

I was really excited to receive this and was hugely disappointed when I received it without straps. I kept it because it took so long to get here, and just used zip ties to attach it to my bike. Still, it was a bummer.
