They might work, but are very fragile. Light can work either way.

The swedges that are meant to mushroom out the heads of the contact mounts are very poor. Out of the 10 that I bought one of the connecqtor blades had already fallen off of one of the switches and was missing. I didn't think too much of this but later when pulling a connector off of one of the blades, the blade came off with the connector (as shown in the attached photos) This is a significant weak point that you are introducing into your electrical system.   • These are awesome little switches. They work perfectly on my boat.
Cons
  • The switches are poorly constructed and can easily become stuck in one position, rendering them useless

on off toggle switch

These switches were great for my application, They are a solid switch, high quality. The light indicator is nice and bright even with only 9 volts going to it rather than 12 volts. I would definitely recommend this product.

  • They work perfect, but that light is bright!

  • The switch does not provide clear feedback when activated, causing confusion and potential safety hazards

Good switch's , Would reccomend

Great little switch's, works great , red led let's you know it's on, one use i use is to control 12 volt spray pump on a four wheeler , completely outdoors in the weather, not saying this is how you should use out in the weather , but for a dollar a piece it's a risk worth taking lol .Follow the voltage and amperage guidelines and you should be good.
