Cracks at the junction

I bought two of these headphones and they both broke at the junction where the headphones bend. The cracks were just above the hinge where the earcup flexes. Headphones worked well until they broke.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • A number of factors

Great sound, good noise cancellation but not long term comfort

To give you an idea I'm a normal sized woman with a big head and big ears and I wear glasses. And I just don't find it comfortable for long periods of time. The pads are sitting in my ears and the band doesn't fit big enough for my liking and because of that and the pressure on my glasses behind my ears I want to take them off before the class is up. But what if you have a small head, small ears and no glasses? Then you should like them, because the sound and noise cancellation are very good…

Good sound but not great. Active Noise Cancellation

Let me start by saying I'm a bit obsessed with bluetooth/wireless headphones and earbuds. I search and test them, trying to find the "perfect" set. While I will say that as long as they are good they will not take first place in my headphone rotation. The sound is ok and the comfort would be ok if the tension wasn't so strong. They clamp pretty tight, but my head is a little bigger than average, but not big, big. They just seem too small. Sound Quality: Not bad at all, but they do seem to lose…

Pros
  • Industry Best
Cons
  • -

TLDR: Good value for money, they are a bit small so be careful if you have a big head. Full charging of the power supply with an output voltage of 5 V took 3 to 3.5 hours on 5 attempts. You CANNOT charge them while plugged in the headphone cable. Micro USB is used for charging. They weigh about 171g or about 6 ounces. Bluetooth works within 25-30 feet line of sight from my phone. That's pretty typical. The battery lasted 9-10 hours with Bluetooth AND noise canceling during 3 tests. It lasted…

Basic noise cancellation but could be better!

I took them on a road trip recently - I drove 1900 miles across the plains and mountains from the Midwest to California so I had plenty of time to try them out. Then I flew home on a plane, so I also used them when flying a very noisy Airbus plane. Overall I found them to be pretty good with noise cancellation and sound quality, but not as good as the more expensive brands I've also tried. The end of the spectrum wasn't boosted as much as I would normally like. My musical tastes vary widely…

Great sound, long battery life, very effective noise suppression

I haven't had large, soft over-ear headphones for decades. It's soothing how this set blocks out external noise and immerses me in music (or conference calls). The headphones sound great, the bass boost is actually quite subtle compared to some headphones I've tried. When I turn on the noise-cancelling feature on these headphones, I can just detect "static" before the background noise goes away. I thought I was the only person who had never tried noise canceling headphones but when people at…

Good headphone

JVC has always impressed me with the quality of their products. The items have lasted much longer than you would expect and I am still using the items I received from this company years later. Your headphones are no exception. They last a long time, they do what they say they do and the battery life is pretty good. While the headphones aren't perfect, they're good enough to deserve a solid 4 stars. I used to think headphones are headphones. You get a set and smack them on your head and you're…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Decent sound, good noise cancellation

These HA-S65 Bluetooth headphones sit on the bottom of JVC's expensive wireless headphones, but they sound pretty good. They pair with ease, and while they use the older Bluetooth 4.1 standard, the sound quality and range were pretty much the same as any other Bluetooth headphones I've used. Region (250-400 Hz), with or without Enhanced Bass enabled, which mainly boosts deep bass (up to 80 Hz). The bass boost is noticeable and easily accessible by pressing the same button you use to turn on the
