I got this player about a week ago to replace my 4 year old RCA player which was starting to give me a bang. Overall this is a very good player with a decent remote control. The fixes were very good as some of my faulty DVDs played fine. An interesting feature of the on-screen display was the bit rate at which the DVDs were encoded.
