- Am I still pretty?

This is a great budget toy to add some fun to your bird cage. I have two zebra finches that don't play like cockatiels or other large birds, but one of my little girls flies to the perch near this mirror and checks her appearance several times a day. So pretty.

He loves to! in toys

Bob likes it! It usually takes him a long time to get used to new toys, but he was immediately obsessed with this one. He has shiny beads and bells that he can pull and make noises. And he can see his own reflection. I expected it to be yellow, but it's blue and yellow. Bob likes it so much I don't mind.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Potentially dangerous.

It's smaller than I thought but my budgie seemed interested enough so no problem. I thought. Twice on the first day in the cage my bird got so tangled in her toes that I had to take them out and the mirror to separate them. I'll see if I can place it outside the cage, close enough for fun and out of reach.

Broken, irreparable, unusable.

This toy is a favorite of one of my lovebirds. I don't like going to pet stores as I am against breeding. But I could at least see it's broken if I bought it in a store. The small piece of yellow plastic that was supposed to attach to the blue toy was broken. To make something useless. Sending back too cheap.

  • Handsfree

Parrot loves this: Toy

For some reason my parrot only likes this mirror/toy. If I try to get another one, she won't play with it. Needless to say she destroyed quite a few of these but it took her about 6 months to do it. The little bells break off fairly easily, so if you have a bird larger than a cockatiel I wouldn't use it as it can choke on it. After a few months I found the mirrors were falling off but they are so cheap I will just buy another one.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Upgradable

Good quality and fast delivery!

I was surprised by the quality of this product! My squackers is the only parrot and I thought it might cheer them up. I love the top hanging part of the mirror - you can hang it high or low depending on your needs. My bird loves his mirror/friend (laughs) and he gets a lot of attention from pecking, scratching and biting, among other things. Consequently, this mirror is beaten and continues to hang in perfect condition. 5 STARS!

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Something different

Fun toy but not suitable for trying to hand train a bird

I am giving it three stars because my bird loves it but the mirror makes him completely antisocial. I had this problem with other bird toys that had mirrors, so I decided to remove them from my budgie's cage. Now he is much friendlier and much more open-minded. Pros: - The bells and overall construction are great and solid. Cons: - The mirror really distracts the bird. So if you want a tame bird I wouldn't add a mirror to it.

I took care of my niece Vogel's beautiful blue Linnie for a month and felt really bad having to leave her 12 hours a day for work. There were many toys in her cage but all seemed to have lost their novelty. So I thought if she had a mirror maybe she would feel like she had a boyfriend and therefore wouldn't be so lonely. Well she likes this mirror! Every night when I came home, she would stand by that mirror and look at her reflection. The same in the morning. When she returned home, she laid…
