Boosted Braking Power with K5143

After I put it to the test, the K5143 brake system upgrade significantly improved my car's stopping power .The drilled and slotted design not only adds to the aesthetics of my ride, but also provides efficient heat dissipation that reduces brake fade. The ceramic material also produces less dust compared to my previous brake pads. My only concern is that it is a bit pricier compared to other brands, but the quality of the product justifies the cost..

Pros
  • Improved braking performance due to drilled and slotted design and use of ceramic material that reduces dust and noise
Cons
  • Slightly more expensive compared to non-slotted/non-drilled non-ceramic counterparts

Great kit for Dodge, adjust warning tabs

Excellent for 2001 Ram 1500 4x4. I like slotted rotors as I live on top of a volcano so I literally ride up and down hills all day. The pads worked fine but I've only driven them <10,000 miles which is about normal for my cars. My problem is the wear indicator. It's set too low, so I go from regular braking to metal grinding without warning. My advice to users is to gently bend the warning tab so it makes noise before sanding the rotors.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
