These brakes are awesome

I bought these on a 2010 Outback 3.6R and they are amazing. The stops are shorter, the brakes feel a lot better and they make absolutely no noise. Push the pedal hard enough and they'll engage those abs on dry pavement. Stops are smooth and straight with no pull on either side.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Nothing here

2011 Outback 3.6r Limited

So far so good! These are fantastic brakes, installation was a little tricky as the pads barely fit in the calipers. Don't forget to flush with brake fluid when installing! I had a large dead zone until I changed the fluid (it wasn't on hand when I installed it). They stop at DIME and also distribute heat very well, which should help with warping in the long run. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Frequency

Incorrect pads supplied direct from Revain

Bought this kit for my 2011 Subaru Outback, the front and rear brake pads were incorrect. The front pads were an inch too long to fit. The rear pads had a different lug arrangement that prevented the caliper from sliding down low enough to reinstall the bolts. As a tool and mold maker, I'm well versed in mechanical designs and this kit was assembled with absolutely the wrong pads. All in all, I had to spend another 110€ for the right pads on site. Revain was the retailer for this kit.

Pros
  • Inspire confidence
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Best part upgrade ever

I am very happy with this purchase, they are definitely an upgrade from the original pads and rotors that were on my 2011 Outback Limited 3.6R. Easy installation but make sure you have at least 2 M8 1.25 x 1 or 2 inch bolts to use as turnbuckles in threaded holes in older rotors or you might have trouble removing them. The last thing to do is keep an eye on the burglary. Manufacturer recommended process and have fun. Now for my only complaint, this K5830 kit fits 2010-2014 4th Gen 3.6R…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some small touches

2010-2014 Subaru Outback 3.6r

Bought this kit for my 2010 Subaru Outback 3.6r Limited because I had a deformed rotor and my pads were nearing the end of their life. First let me say that this set of pads and rotors has a lot more stopping power than what was originally on the car. This kit includes everything you need for installation. I used the new caliper bracket hardware but left the standard drive pin bushings. However, if they do need to be replaced, it's nice to have an extra set of bushings on hand. One installation

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Safety
