🔧 Highly Efficient Replacement Wire Whip for 5 Quart Lift Bowl: K5AWW 6-Wire Whip Attachment Review

Broken on first use. I was able to stick the pin back on and use it a few more times before it broke again. It makes the most terrifying sound when the broken pin hits the side of the bowl and I can't get back through the revane. :(

I purchased this replacement whip after my 19 year old whip broke. This is a slightly longer shape than my original and touches the ground when struck. I no longer have to hold up the bowl to whip everything like I used to do with cream or egg whites.

Very durable and totally dishwasher safe. Perfect for a stand mixer but slightly longer than the original Kitchen Aid whisk. The motor head needs to be adjusted to prevent the new whisk from scratching the bottom of the bowl too much. Very happy with the purchase!

Workmanship seems good. 2 stars because this whisk doesn't even get close to the sides or bottom of the bowl. I just tried beating butter, sugar, and eggs for chocolate chip cookies and had to stop a few times. It would just mix everything in 1/2" between the whisk and bowl and mix the ingredients poorly. Used a few more times with the same poor results. Sent back.

This whisk attachment doesn't reach the bottom of the K4SSWH bowl (4.5L bowl) which ONLY came with the mixer attachment. When trying to whip 3 large egg whites it just hovered over the egg whites themselves and I had to do a lot of hand beating to actually get them foamy enough for the beater to catch something. To defeat the purpose of using a stand mixer to beat egg whites, you'll probably have better luck with a hand held mixer.
