Chalk only once per game and seems to work very well if you grind every shot this chalk is not for you. It took me a little getting used to not having to chalk, but I didn't miss a single shot in 4 games.

Good chalk. Smooth as warm butter. Was a big fan of Balabuska and Blue Diamond Chalks (especially Balabushka) but Kamui is in a league of his own. The chalk pen is smaller. Draw better. Doubtful but worth the extra money.

I personally keep going back to blue chalk masters. It's very cheap in comparison and I feel like my cue tip is better than the Kamui. It's worth trying, but I'd ask to use someone else's before spending any money on it

This item has a unique flavor that some players will find exceptional and others will not mind. I personally find it extraordinary. I can move the ball wherever I want. It takes some time to get used to the rotation speed as this chalk gives your signal incredible grip. But once you do, there will be several positions that will get you off the path.

I like Kamui's chalk, although it leaves stains on the cue ball right after the chalk. I rarely scratch because the chalk is very good. The only thing I think I hate is the price. There are other colored pencils that are beginning to compete with chalk of about the same consistency. Kamui Roku is considered Cleaner Chalk - just haven't tried it yet. A cube of Kamui lasts me for more than a year because I don't need much of it. ❤️

Very different from the regular chalk you see on tables. WARNING: This will increase your tip's grip on the cue ball. You'll take a few shots to get used to it, even if there's very little English or down angle in your shot. You will get a tie or quit if you didn't expect it at first. And it lasts. While most will find it overpriced like I did before buying it, I can assure you it's worth it! I play 5 to 15 games a day, mostly in practice. I no longer have to apply chalk between games (not strokes, but games!) unless I'm wrong. I also found that most of the chalk stays on the cues and only needs to be touched up between plays. I've had this new chalk since April 20, 2018 and I'm still using the same block. I didn't use enough to touch the paper. It takes time and my recordings in English…

There is nothing smoother on the market than .98. 1.21 is a bit more solid. The new Roku 6 is even tougher as far as I can tell. Have only had it for a few weeks now. I like the .98 best and have used it with the original Kamui Supersoft. Best combo so far. Chalk 1.21 is also very good. I really like them both, but I tend towards pastel colors like .98. I play an average of 15 hours a week. Sometimes 30 hours and sometimes just 5 hours per league night. I assure you I even got sick with Kamui…
