great product in spares

replaced on my husgvarna ltg2654. 1/3 the price of Husqvarna. easy to assemble 3 bolts 5/16 and 2 nuts 10mm, fitted and run and worked great with no adjustment. The filter that comes with it isn't the best, but will work until I get better.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • so-so

Not all parts work except carb

The carb fit my LGT2554 Husqvarna, I used my old ground wire because it was the right length. This carburetor has a shorter ground wire. It also doesn't have a little plastic grommet to hold the throttle in place. The fuel filter is too small. And didn't come with fuel line clamps as shown in the description.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • unreliable

My engine was not listed but the carburetor looked the same. Working

Kohler Engine SV730-3031 I had a gas leak and my old Troy Bilt Mustang was in bad shape anyway. etc etc but just decided to buy this product. Worked great immediately without setup. Since I've had my mower, it has never started so easily. Highly recommended. Parts stores were charging close to $300 for a carburetor, whatever that meant.

Waste of money, not exactly as pictured or as described.

The kit includes a smaller fuel filter than shown which is unusable as it uses a smaller diameter fuel line and in any case the flow is too low as it is designed for a smaller engine. The kit also lacked fuel line clamps. The ground wire was too short and I had to reuse the existing ground wire from the old carburetor. The carburetor was also not preset as advertised. Overall very dissatisfied, I could have picked a cheaper kit and got what I got.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Drill pack

Direct swap - easy install

Not sure what some people are whining about as it was the PERFECT direct fit for bolting on the Kohler motor to my ZTR Troy Built/Cub Cadet/MTD mower. All gaskets, filters and clamps were included. The engine starts immediately and runs smoothly. NO modifications were required. Maybe others ordered the wrong part for their engine? Be sure to check the engine model number and match against the carburetor trim list. By the way, the float needle on my normal carburettor got stuck. It was cheaper…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Faulty Carburetor Received

We purchased this item new and installed it on our lawnmower. Worked intermittently for a week, then gasoline began to leak. After spending $300 to have a mechanic come to his house to fix the problem, he opened it up and found the carburetor had signs of wear. There was a lot of dirt inside and the metal was greenish in color. He had to clean it up and after $300 our mower works. We paid for a new carburetor but obviously got a used one. We are very disappointed with the quality and it turned…
