We put it on a stroller and squashed the brakes and it broke right away. I do not recommend. My husband took it and the old one and made a new one that works

Out of the box this kart caliper looked just as good as the one it replaced, but on first use the caliper on the lever side broke immediately. See photos where the casting clicked. As you can see the caliper is clean. There was no way to get it dirty once while using it.

It's the brakes, your kart will stop, but if you have a kart that goes decently fast they just don't work very well, it takes quite a long time to get around To come to a stop, the pads were completely detached and almost impossible to repair, so I had to request a replacement. In addition, the screw that tightens the gap between the pads is often loosened to the point that the brakes do almost nothing. In general, if you just want to lock the wheels with hydraulic brakes, it's not good at all.
