Great switch, albeit a little big

After needing to install a switchable power accessory I finally bought this switch after looking at smaller options that had poor reviews to replace. This is a great switch and the quality of the mechanism when using the switch gives you peace of mind that it will last a long time without any problems. The hole is a little big, but you won't notice it once the switch is in place (if you remove the switch, though, you might have to find an interesting solution to close that spot). The device…

Easy to install, works great.

I added a 12 volt outlet to the back of my truck and installed this switch to turn the switch on and off. Works great and the light is bright (even during the day) so you know when the switch is on. I took off a star because the switch doesn't come with instructions, which requires some trial and error. The outer columns are positive and negative and the center is positive when the switch is on. Through trial and error, I found that positive and negative only work in one direction. That means…

Easy for a fool like me.

Four stars only because I only installed it for an hour or less. I installed it on the Kicker Hideaway in my 2015 Colorado Crew Cab because I couldn't find a fuse that wasn't constantly hot when the truck was off, and I didn't want to bother unplugging the main unit. From there, click on the remote cable. I used a 7/8" screwdriver to poke a hole in the plastic under the back seat and then dug it all the way out with a dremel tool.
