Made in China in tow and winches

returned on the day of arrival. The wristband I received was yellow, with no keeper logo, and made in China, not the US. The picture in the description says Made in USA, it wasn't.

Pros
  • Many positive emotions
Cons
  • upgrades

does the job. in tow hooks and straps

Working. Doesn't come with a bag. that would be nice. Either way. It's cheap insurance when you're in mud, rocks, or snow. Fire roads or just helping others on the street. Pulled out at least 3 cars blocking movement.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Security

Entry level tow hook and strap

This item does not have a friction reducing sleeve. Larger and heavier than similar straps with the same strength ratings. The overall quality is so-so. Good to have on hand for emergencies, but for regular use I wouldn't need it if you do a lot of off-road driving.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I'll write later

It feels great when you pull someone out

The truck got stuck in the boat this kid got her out pulling my trailer and she, CHEVY BABY!, that strap didn't break, it's the That's the only way someone can pull, the chain doesn't jam, doesn't feel any jerking, smooth and strong tension.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Some flaws

You kill for me! for towing groceries and winches

These are great straps for ATVs and UTVs, it's overkill, but if you have room to move, stretching will make your vehicle heavier than it actually is to pull someone out. Just don't overdo it with momentum, you can get a real ride. it looks good enough for light trucks. I don't think I would try a full size Dodge 4x4.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Very expensive

People complain that it's made in China or somewhere else.

People complain that it is made in China or elsewhere. That may be true; maybe even a fake and not a real Keeper brand recovery strap. But it works. I used it at least fifteen times last winter to pull trucks out of the snow in my '93 Jeep Cherokee. Have also used it to pull myself out of mud and sand. that's how the thing works. As long as he can detach me, the location of his construction does not matter.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to say

Perfect for when I need it

I got this before a severe winter last fall and I was right. In Michigan we broke all kinds of snow records. I've only used my belt once (in combination with a Smittybuilt D-Link) when my Subaru Impreza got stuck high and centered, rendering the 4WD helpless. A quick sprint forward and I was free, no need to call or pay for a tow truck. I would only recommend having one of these if you want to learn how to use them properly to avoid damage and injury.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Blank
