Great addition to the ratchet

Fits my anchor system and reels perfectly. The rope/line is of good quality and the holder is better than I thought it would be.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Better than expected

I wish I could buy 2 more. So far these bindings have worked flawlessly. No problem, I've tied everything from a BBQ grill to a sectional sofa with no problems. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

These bindings are much easier to use than .

These straps are much easier to work with than bulky belts. Keep them in your pickup truck for quick access and they come in handy for protecting a variety of items, big or small!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Functionality

Not what I expected

Totally my fault but I didn't realize this one didn't have a pulley to turn the rope like some other brands. This one has a cam that pulls on the rope as you pull it through, rather than a pulley. This difference makes it difficult to pull and tighten the rope. I think it would be ok for lighter or less used applications. But they are expensive compared to belts so I need them to last.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not bad

Does the marking on the rope indicate a lower workload?

I hope they just used the wrong box with labels, but the one attached to the rope shows a much lighter workload than the one on the container. All plastic construction except spring and aluminum pins top and bottom. The lower part doesn't contain a pulley (bug or feature? I could have chosen too) and while this seems to damage the rope after a day or two, I suppose having fewer moving parts is a good thing.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Sturdy, easy-to-use ratcheting system

I used two of these to secure the kayak to the garage rafters. One in the bow, the other in the stern. They work very well. I was a little nervous about parking my car right under the kayak so I built a safety rope (to catch the ends of the kayak in case the ratchet system fails) and after 2.5 years the rope has been strong so far. . I recently bought two more for our other kayak and my dad did the same for his canoe (same system - garage rafters). I still use a safety rope at each end, but I'm

Block without a ratchet, long rope, metal hook

Please note that this product only fixes the rope. It does not allow the rope to be pulled through the pulley in any direction unless the "trigger" is held. It's spring-loaded so it's always in the "stop" position on the rope unless you're holding the block and pulling the trigger. This is normal when you use the product to tie loads and pull the rope over the load. You can hold the block in hand, tighten the rope by pulling the trigger, and then release the trigger to fix the rope. However, if
