My ¼ inch seams were perfect, but my finished pieces were not. My new Janome 1/4" foot let me down. I didn't even realize it until I started stamp quilting. This PERFECT PIECING SEAM GUIDE is not what I expected. I was expecting it to be something that would stick (essentially forever) to the sewing machine to aid in a perfect 1/4 inch seam. However, it is not sticky. It's probably 1/8" thick and fairly stiff.
