Looks good. I haven't had a chance to try them with kids but I think you need to supervise the kids while they are using them. Safety considerations with kids aside, it seems like they could easily break when fully stretched out. As long as they are used for their intended purpose and not played with, they are fine. These marshmallow sticks were just what I needed for my backyard grilling. They came in a small pouch which I kept for myself and it fits perfectly in my utensil drawer because the ends of these chopsticks are sharp, not something you want to roll around in a drawer. The telescoping handle is perfect for little hands so they don't get too close to the fire, and I love that they're dishwasher safe.

It's marshmallow roasting time and that's what they need. They're a bit flexible but not fragile and easily hold the giant marshmallows that my kids love to use. It was long enough that we could all recline a little from the fire and undress easily. Best of all, the handle didn't get hot and, surprisingly, the metal fork didn't leak either. We could eat our marshmallows right off these skewers without burning ourselves.

These roasting sticks are perfect for backyard fires or camping. They extended just enough so our kids didn't have to be too close to the fire and spaced out so the handles didn't get hot. Wooden handles are comfortable to hold. My kids loved the colors on each one and I love that it was easy to tell who's who. Easy to slide in and out and powerful enough to chill marshmallows, hot dogs, anything you want to grill. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and thankful for a good set!

We brought these campsites and the boys broke one right away. At first they annoyed me - then I went camping again and another one broke. The heat of the fire seemed to weaken her. They stick out further than expected and are amazingly strong. They also come with a nice storage bag so I can keep them together in my kitchen fire pit. The only downside is that if marshmallows get stuck to the metal pins, they are very difficult to clean. I left the leftovers overnight as our camp was too dark to clean up. This is a great price at less than $2 each. One was broken upon delivery and the glue gun didn't really fix it, but they're still expensive. I had a really "nice" sentimental set of hot dog sticks that I got as a gift years ago.
