Not the most practical design.

The K-Cup is located on the rear/top of the machine while most Keurig models have it on the front. I didn't think of that when I bought it, but it will virtually eliminate placing the machine on the countertop under cabinets where a lot of people put coffee makers in there. The door you can put a cup in is very tall and won't fit through most cupboards. Therefore, placement should be on a counter with nothing above or at the very edge of the counter. The pot doesn't keep the coffee warm for…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers

Good machine - well designed and well made

This is a better machine than any coffee maker we've had (about $10 cheap to $200 including Cuisinart, Hamilton Beach, Mr. Coffee ). He feels tighter. The parts fit better together.* The carafe keeps the coffee warm for more than 12 hours. A heating pad is not required. The design is excellent. The buttons are simple, clear, and all in one place. Access to the coffee capsules and filter is easily accessible - even under the cabinet. The water tank can be moved to the side or to the rear…

FIVE STARS but with ONE complaint

This item is amazing. I like at least 4 things about it. 1) Easy to use. 2) It replaced the Mister Coffee machine and the Keurig K-Cop coffee maker and saved a lot of counter space. 3) The tank can be placed on the right, left or back of the table depending on the situation. 4) Mr. Coffee asked you to add the right amount of water for the amount of coffee you wanted. The Keurig K-Duo Plus has a reservoir and uses the right amount of water based on how many cups (Kug) or ounces (K-Cup) you…

Cup of Hot Vapor Failures

We love the looks and dual functionality of the K-Duo Plus. Elegant, sexy, looks gorgeous on the countertop. The stainless steel carafe keeps the heat for a long time and programming is easy. However, there seems to be a serious electrical flaw in the design. We haven't had a last one in over a couple of weeks. Our 5th just failed. yes five Some last a week or two, some just a few days. It's always the same problem; Turn it on, start a brew cycle and it turns off almost immediately. Reset, try…

The best coffee maker I've ever had! HE

First of all for a duo (K-Cup and Drip Brew) this machine is surprisingly slim and compact. The water canister can be placed on the side or the back, making it much easier to place it in the available space. The carafe is of high quality and very well insulated, keeping your coffee fresh and hot. Personally, I drink tea, not coffee, but I was addicted to Keurig when I tried their Earl Gray K-Cups. What I particularly like about Keurig's design is that I can brew a K cup of tea after my husband…

  • Good value for money

  • Good but not great

Keurig K-Duo Plus vs. Hamilton Beach FlexBrew

I bought these two pots at the same time (Keurig here at Revain and FlexBrew at our local big box store). Here's my analysis: What these two have in common:* They make great coffee! 12-cup or 60-ounce carafe (you'll lose some liquid during the brewing process, reaching about 56-57 ounces).* They're both programmable for auto brew. Coffee, and this option applies to both a carafe and a single portion. Advantages of Keurig K-Duo Plus:* Attractive appearance.* Small dimensions are suitable for…
