🏻 Kevin Murphy Rough Rider Clay - 3.4 oz Review

I bought Rough Rider Clay because Kevin Murphy recently quit my longtime favorite Gritty Business. Even if it's not exactly the same. Like Gritty Business, it holds the style well, keeping hair grippy and matte. Just like the sand business, a little of this product goes a long way. It also has a very pleasant smell. I will definitely keep buying.

This stuff is great. Probably the most I've paid for a hair product, but the amount of product I need to style my hair in the morning is less than a pea size and the hold can last for days without being greasy. Less is needed compared to cheaper products at the grocery store. Developed by someone who has been using a 'dirty' ax for almost a decade, this product is a game changer.

What I liked the most was the texture it gave my hair. And as described on the product, it offers medium hold (medium is weak for me because I have 11 inch hair). As I have oily skin my hair usually gets quite greasy if I leave it on overnight but that is not the case with this particular product as it is a tone. I have tried many products on the market and have to say this is by far the best if you want your hair to stand up or be styled and look a bit natural. The only negative I can say about the product is that it is difficult to wash off. I also tried the Night Rider product for comparison because I searched online for a comparison of the two products but didn't find much, Night Rider washes off easier, looks a bit wet (non-matte finish) and doesn't hold up well . or how long. Good. This is the best hair soil I have ever used and I am a fan of hair styling products. I have used some of the best and most expensive styling creams, clays, gels and pomades on the market. Kevin Murphy is a rough-and-tumble rider who just barely stands out from the rest if you want a matte finish and responsive grip. The smell alone makes you want to rub it all over your body.
