I bought this for my Tiguan. Absolutely not suitable. This is too little. Don't waste money. Sent it back for a refund but never received a refund.

According to the description it fits Volkswagen Passat but the outer ring is too small. The actual start/stop button doesn't even go through the center of the ring.

I drive a 2012 Passat TDI SEL. The button itself is very small. I ended up just leaving the ring on and the button doesn't even sit flush with the ring. It's also concave so it won't stick to a standard button. Spend the extra money and buy a better one

Works and looks great. Install the outer red trim ring first, then remove the protective tape from the button and ensure it is placed exactly as desired on top of the factory launch button before depressing. Red is very convenient for quick visual recognition as it contrasts with other silver objects around it.

I have a 2013 Passat TDI SEL Premium. My start button is about 29mm long. My photo shows one scratched, another photo from the seller. So you have to return it. Ok otherwise you can Lost the backlight But the description says: Suitable for VW premium models with push button starter (Golf GTI Jetta Atlas Tiguan Passat CC Beetle etc.) 2012-2019.
