Doesn't work 2008 Liberty

Bought for my daughter's 2008 Jeep Liberty as we only had 1 key. The mechanic tried to program it and it didn't work. Took it to the dealer, same thing, so we ended up buying the key to the jeep. Took both original and new jeep keys and tried programming again. Nothing. Changed batteries, still nothing. waste of money.

No complaints good for anti-theft

I've had these for a few months now. One is currently the primary key and my spouse uses the other. I haven't had any issues with them and the price is amazing. The instructions were easy to follow. IMPORTANT NOTE: Your typical hardware stores will NOT duplicate these types of keys. I had to go to a local locksmith who did it for free as I had my own blank keys (not sure if locksmiths do this or not).

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works best in keyless entry systems

I bought this set of 2 because we only had 1 working key for our 2008 Chrysler Sebring. Then we washed the key in the washing machine. Oops. The key itself still started the car, but the electronics were clearly burned out. So we took one of these keys to our local dealer. They cut and programmed a $70 key. Then we took the 2nd key to a local hardware store where they cut the key for free and then we programmed the key ourselves. Both work perfectly, you don't notice what was done at the dealer

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Great product!: Keyless Entry Systems

If I bought 1 key from a locksmith it would cost $110. This set of two is $30 and programming and key cutting is $38. So you pay less for 2 keys than for 1. In addition, the locksmith gave retired military personnel a 20% discount, bringing the cost of making and programming both keys down to $60. Experienced/retired/disabled vets be sure to ask about these discounts. There are many companies that appreciate their sacrifices. By the way, the new keys work better in the ignition/doors than theโ€ฆ

Exactly what was ordered!

This key was meant to replace my 2014 Dodge Avenger key (6 years old) and works great! 2 $25 keys seemed too good to be true, I saw some bad reviews but decided to buy them anyway. Personally, I don't know what all the hate is about. I cut these 2 keys and programmed one for $100. I used the Dodge/Chysler/Jeep programming trick on the second new key and it really worked! key, but I hardly notice it. I will update this review in 6 months if anything changes!

These keys are perfect!

I never write reviews but when I went to the dealer to get this key they said 280.00! I went straight to Revane and found this key. I read the reviews they were so helpful! So, I had two cars that needed new keys. In one car I only had one key and in the other car I had the two original keys. So I knew from the reviews that I needed a locksmith for at least one car. So I called them and picked up the car and for 60.00 they programmed and cut me two new keys and they are perfect! On another carโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

The keys work fine on my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I recently purchased a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee that only came with a 14 button key. When I called around it turned out that changing keys was expensive as they required a computer to be hooked up to your car - I was quoted anywhere from $89 for a buttonless key at the locksmith (dealer wanted $185) to $260 for one Key offered with 4 buttons. The only problem seems to be that you only have 1 key - with 2 working keys you can program 3 or 4 keys yourself. What I did was make the cheapest keyโ€ฆ

Look for key fobs to cut/program

I only have an original key that doesn't work with keyless entry and I'm tired of becoming immune to the sound of my intruder alarm roared every time I unlocked my jeep. I've researched and read all the reviews on Revain for Jeep Keyless Entry. I decided I had to go with a provider that offered a combination of logical reviews and a solid star rating. Because there were Revain vendors with similar star ratings and lots of reviewers, but each vendor had basically the same issues - key shellsโ€ฆ

LARGE KEY SET: 2012 JEEP LIBERTY 4X4 SPORT

I recently purchased a used 2012 Jeep Liberty 4X4 Sport. The only key that came with it was quite broken and the remote control functions didn't work properly. The dealer agreed to replace 1 key fob free of charge and did so. I still prefer at least 2 perfectly working keys for each of my machines. The cheapest local option was $150 plus tax for the key. I didn't want to pay that much so I searched Revain and found these 2 keys for $30. I wasn't sure I could program them myself, but since theโ€ฆ
