Perfect fit for my 2013 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor Sedan. Don't worry about chip programming, police versions don't have a chip reader in the ignition. Posted a photo of the manual for Ford. They don't come with paper instructions, but they give you a website to find the right steps.

I bought these to add remote start and keyless entry to my 2014 FPIU. They program car keys without a single problem. I bought them on October 14, 2020 and today is September 12, 2021. The keys have worked every time (once 6 days a week for the last 11 months). The only reason for not giving 1 star for durability is that the badges almost completely wore out the rubber buttons in just 11 months. But for the price paid I can't complain. Most importantly, the buttons are still strong.

Before I say anything else, let me start by saying I've waited over 90 days to make the keys and try to program them. Apart from that, as far as the product itself is concerned, the keys obviously cut very well. I took the car to a Ford dealership and they tried to program these keys to no avail. Excellent keys. They are easy to program and much cheaper than stealership. I could program the key fob on the car before cutting them. The remote start didn't work until I disconnected the keys and programmed the car, this may be due to user error. AFTER A WHILE I realized that you need to press the LOCK BUTTON before pressing the remote start. It won't work if you don't. I only realized this after I cut and programmed the machine. They work pretty well on our 2014 Explorer after we figured out exactly how to program them. We recently enabled remote start and required 5 button keys due to the power tailgate and the new remote start option. Programming the key start function is similar to any other Ford key: have 2 keys on hand, turn the 1st key to the ON position for 3 seconds, remove the 2nd key for 3 seconds and turn on, remove that and turn on new key. I got them on my 2013 Mustang with a bit of annoyance at the 'Error programming built-in key' message on the dash info display after starting the car. However, you start the car and the remote functions work. To program I had to follow the steps in the manual which never showed the programming worked and always showed the built in button message. For 2017 Ford Expedition XLT. Cut the keys at a local locksmith, the cost to cut was $20 a key, hardware stores didn't do this.
