Good Keys - Find a good locksmith before you buy.

You won't find a better price. get mail in the mail. My locksmith charged $60 for the cut and $50 for the programming. All keys, new and old, need to be programmed and he made all the keys for the same price. Before you buy, find a good locksmith who is willing to do a fair deal with you. One guy offered to come home and have a key made locally for $230, so he got a good deal at Wilson Locksmith and Keys in Sonoma, California. FYI - all your keys must be present at time of programming, all keys

They work, they saved me money, but they're not perfect.

The mechanical part of the original 2003 key is detachable and replaceable. What I needed was an electronic transponder and a case of new ones, and I figured I could just put the old metal key in the new case and program them. However, these new parts from Amazon do not have a removable mechanical metal key like the originals and therefore cannot be replaced with a new case. I ended up taking the electronic components from this Amazon kit and put them in an old suitcase with my old mechanical…

Inexpensive alternative to the dealer if you do it right

I was able to shorten the key at the dealer free of charge and avoid programming a transponder by using the transponder from the old key. Here's what you need to do, open the new key and take out the new transponder. Cut and peel a tiny piece of plastic to fit the transponder from your old key. Cover the new key with the cap with the old Honda logo and take it to the dealer to be cut free. The dealer will get rid of this if you bought the key from them and the only way they know is by the Honda

$#!£ Piece Fits Interior

Luckily I didn't spend money on making keys because I read a lot of mixed reviews. But my experience was that I was able to follow the instructions on youtube and got the keys paired to the car and they worked for locking, unlocking, opening the trunk etc. but the first key worked a total of 2 days before. screwed up the bed. A total of 6 times we locked or opened the doors remotely and that was it. The second key survived until the 3rd day, but with difficulty. They acted like the battery was…

Great but word of caution have the key cut by a locksmith PRIOR to purchase

The product itself is fantastic - the quality is like my original factory key + it took 10 seconds to program (after I watched some helpful youtube videos ); this is how the world should work in 2017. The problem, however, is that I couldn't find a single place willing to cut pre-purchased blanks: not Home Depot, Ace, Lowe's, or a few local locksmiths. They all required me to buy THEIR forms (which start at $80 each). They claim it's because they can't verify the quality of the metal used in…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Negative gift

The keys appear to be of decent quality and come with key programming instructions. I followed the program instructions but it can only lock/unlock doors and trunk. I had a locksmith cut the keys because the Honda needs to be laser cut. The keys turn the ignition but the car won't start. It turns out you still need a dealer/locksmith to program the anti-theft system to recognize the keys. So it still costs me $185 because dealers and locksmiths in my area don't program the keys unless you buy…

Responsive chat support. Keyless Remote Works

Goods arrived well packaged and quickly. It's easy to follow the instruction card to access the programming sequence on their website. Although I was unable to successfully register the keyless remote, I was able to quickly chat with their support team, who provided a YouTube video highlighting the importance of going into remote registration mode and then one last one Press once on the currently activated target remote control. to be registered. The part I stumbled upon was when the…

Excellent and economical choice for new keychains

Good choice! I have a key fob for another car from this company that has been working great for four years. This is for my 2004 Honda LX Accord. I went to Batteries Plus Bulbs in a nearby town. Their cutting costs only $10 per key. So I made sure both keys fit in the door lock before I went home. At home I disassembled one of my old key fobs and took out the "chip". I had to use a blade and get it out of the plastic case. It will damage the old key fob, never mind because it didn't work anyway.
