As some people reported, after replacing the guts and key fob, the buttons would not press / no function. This is very true, after comparing the original with the purchased one, I notice that the notches on the buttons that attach to the board were much longer. So I filed the notches, now everything works. If the product didn't need to be modified to make it work properly I would give it 5 stars. old factory buttons on the left, replacement on the right with filed notches.

This guy was the perfect way to avoid spending a ridiculous amount on a new remote control. My original from my TL broke where the key loop is and still worked but useless if I couldn't carry it with the rest of the keys. I can't believe these bad reviews. Are you serious? It took me less than a minute to swap them out. Anyone with common sense can tell from the photos that no metal battery is included. This is coming from your OLD remote control. This should be a new thing for people like me who broke theirs. The exchange was so quick. I ordered this replacement case because the keyhole on one of mine broke. Replacing the case was a lot cheaper than buying a new remote and it worked great. The new case is qualitatively similar to the original, although the large Acura logo on the back is missing.
