Although this is a drop bar and works as a drop bar, the product was not the color I expected and had very little gold in the finish. Not well described but the color would suit someone else.

I have installed several ceiling fans in several properties I own and Kichler fans seem to be somewhat unique in their lower stems. It doesn't look like you can just go to the big store and buy one to match the giggle. It does the trick

I was expecting it to be unthreaded and it didn't fit my fan perfectly because it came out and was threaded on both ends. I was able to make it work with some extra material as spaces between the strands, which might not have been necessary, but it made everything tighter.
