🚪 Kidco Y Spindle: The Ultimate Solution for Securely Mounting Child Safety Gates Review

Works great. Bought a Regalo gate for the bottom of the stairwell ("Regalo Easy Open Kids Gate 50″ wide, bonus kit, includes 6″ and 12″ extension kit, with clamp and wall mount kits). To install the Kidco Y-spindle, we had to remove the plastic part from the Regalo gate with pliers (very easy to do). After that the fit was perfect. The whole setup is very sturdy and withstood the pushing/pulling of our 13 month old baby. In general very satisfied.

Just moved into a new house with lots of ladders and two very young children. It was PERFECT with proper gate installation. I have them both at the top and bottom of the stairs. I feel very safe and secure when I use them the most. I wish they came sooner - (they didn't come after 2 days which I'm used to from Revain :) ) Maybe they weren't in stock but still buy them if you need them and waste your time to get yours set the gate correctly.

I installed this on a different type of gate (Regalo Easy Open Super Wide Walk Thru Gate - White) than the Kidco type. The gates were metal, like the children's, but the connections were smaller. After just screwing it down with no locks, it was very tight. Works great after a month of use! The price is worth it and the rubber material doesn't hurt my railing.
