This snorkel mask has an unique head strap that grabs the mask to your head like a four legged octupus. This strap didn't pull on my hair even when it was up in a ponytail. That is the other bonus with this mask is that I can keep my hair in a ponytail and still wear this snorkel mask with no issues. I have had my mask for a year. I purchased it mainly as a novelty, as I only swim at the local community pool. It is okay for the price, but there are some definite drawbacks.The first major problem is that the seal over the bridge of my nose is never complete, which means that when I breath out, instead of all the CO2 going out the valves, two streams of air escape from the mouth part of the mask near the corners of my eyes. While this mask fits and feels very comfortable and seems to be made well, it is DANGEROUS and you should consider the safety aspect before purchasing. I’m a fit person that enjoys cycling and hiking for long distances. I took this mask out to Black rock in Maui for its first use. The intake valve is too small as others have commented and does not allow an adult to take large breaths as you begin to tire from swimming. This causes oxygen deprivation and begins to panic anyone that normally uses

I liked this snorkel and it seems to work well enough. But I have a beard, and that ruins the seal on the lower part of the mask. I was disappointed but it kept filling up (slowly) with water so I had to return it.

I’ve owned a few full face masks. This one is comfortable but when you breathe out when your head but not your snorkel is under water, the air comes out near your ears and it’s so loud! The only way it is comfortable to swim with this mask is doing the crawl while breathing in when you would normally breathe out and breathing out with your head turned (when you’re normally breathing in). It’s awkward, but it works.

Great concept - however practice in a pool or other swallow water before use. It’s a totally different technique and takes some practice on how to breath differently than normal snorkeling gear . Doesn’t totally seal out water …

Definitely not a good idea to use for the first time while on vacation. It took me an hour plus to get used to it, wife stopped after trying for 10 minutes. It feels hard to breathe at first, you must stay calm for it to work. It is airtight and built well. I have mixed up feeling about it.

These are great masks. Very well made and seal very well both on my (adult mask) and my daughter (child mask). You can test how well these work by putting it on and tilting your head back (simulating water floating the ball in the end breathing tube up) and you instantly suck the mask into your face and it is sealed.
