Re: Strength tape: my feedback

It helps on my knee problem. Since using this tape, discomfort in going up and down stairs slowly went away. What a relief!

Pros
  • ‎3 x 2 x 5 inches
Cons
  • The adhesive may not be strong enough for all levels of physical activity

If you don't care about color, or color code your taping. This will work for you on the fly.I bought it for far less than other colors of the same brand, because it was green? I don't know who doesn't like green, especially in a bandaid sense. (It really doesn't matter as long as it works.)The adhesive nature is odd. Under full stretch it works almost too well. I got a few tension blisters from the tape after intense athletic use. Under no stretch it tends to get loose in a day or two at best…

Pros
  • HIGH QUALITY KINESIO TAPE. STRENGTHTAPE is 30% stickier and stretches 10% more than other brands of kinesiology tape. Our Athletic tape is made of breathable cotton and Spandex. It is not made with natural rubber latex.
Cons
  • The tape may not be as effective for chronic injuries as acute injuries

Def not a replacement for KT Pro

I got this to try cause another review said it worked better than KT tape. It worked about the same as KT tape. But I would say it’s not better than KT tape PRO.

Pros
  • The tape is breathable, reducing the risk of skin irritation or infection
Cons
  • The tape may not be as easy to remove as other similar products

Versatile support good for me

I do like this product, use it for multiple purposes and have shared it with friends. I use it to give a little extra support to my feet and shoulders. It can easily be cut to length.

Pros
  • Provides targeted pain relief without the use of medication
Cons
  • The tape may not be suitable for all body parts or muscles

Great kinesiology tape

Great kinesiology tape. Does the job well IF you make sure to follow the directions AND tape correctly. There are some good books and videos on taping, I'd suggested you do your research for the best result. This tape does the job when you know how to apply it. Lasts several days.

Pros
  • ‎Carex
Cons
  • The tape may not be easy to find replacements for once a roll runs out

Good product. on my review.

Have used this brand for several years and I am quite satisfied. The adhesion appears to depend on how fresh the tape is, the fresher the better. Also shaving the body part where you are applying the tape helps quite a bit. This tape works well.

Pros
  • TRY THEM ALL: Find StrengthTape in uncut & precut rolls to use where needed & precut kits that target joints & muscle group injury & pain in the neck, back, calf, ankle, quad, wrist, shoulder, & knee. For athletes & non-athletes. Available in many colors.
Cons
  • The tape may not be as comfortable to wear during long periods of time

50% less cost and better performance

StrengthTape is tape I use now. I use it for ankle, ACL & MCH and shin splints support. I have tried 4 other KT tape brands, NONE of them could keep sticking after two days and a shower. I run trails 5xweek, up to 90 minutes/run. The support is great and the tape doesn't not give up on me. The web site video demonstrations have fine tuned my wrapping technique as well. Sealing the deal?.price is consistently the lowest and quality the best. Where do you find that anymore?

Pros
  • Can be used by athletes of all levels and abilities
Cons
  • The tape may not work as well when used alongside other treatment methods

Not as good as some other brands - bad for sensitive skin

This tape is similar to KT tape and Rock tape, but definitely inferior. It does not stick as well as those other two brands. When I recently needed to use tape on my back, I had some of this left over from about a year ago when I was trying out different brands that I needed for arch support in my feet. It was okay for my feet, though it didn't stay on for more than half a day, and definitely not once it got wet. When I used it on my low back - more sensitive skin - the area it covered broke…

Pros
  • The tape is easy to remove and doesn't leave residue
Cons
  • The tape may not be as comfortable to wear during high-intensity workouts or sports

No more pain on my review.

I use this for foot pain and your product is amazing. Working as a nurse and standing on my feet for 12+ hours can cause a lot of pain. I place this tape as directed by my doctor and I have no pain

Pros
  • ‎Light Blue
Cons
  • The tape may not be suitable for all athletic activities

Best tape ever. on my review.

I had tried KT tape, but it came off in <24 hours. I was like, "Well, that was stupid." So I asked my favorite FB group, WRC - Women's Running Community, and was told to try Strength Tape. Holy cow! I prepped my boo-boo leg (stress fractured shin - just 5 weeks before my 1st half!), and after a FULL WEEK, it was still going strong. During that week I worked out 3x, showered daily, and went to the beach. And still, it was perfect. So, I had to wear a dress that day, or I'd have left…

Pros
  • Helps alleviate soreness and stiffness in muscles
Cons
  • The tape may not be as suitable for individuals with sensitive skin

Like several folks here

Like several folks here, I had an allergic reaction to the adhesive. After about 24 hours of contact with my skin, I developed some itching, and having removed the bandage found that I was starting to blister. The blisters were painful and lasted for several days. The scabs lasted for over a week. That said, I was aware that this could be problem with this product and chose to buy it anyway. I'm sad that I am allergic to the adhesive because I found this to be far more comfortable than any of…

Pros
  • use when I play pickle ball and when I walk/run.
Cons
  • The tape may not be as effective as more traditional injury-prevention methods

Strength Tape is the Winner

I bought two different KT tapes at the same time in an effort to see what I liked best. Strength Tape won out over Theraband. I really liked them both and both have advantages and disadvantages but Strength Tape is much thicker and stronger. They both stayed on 5-7 days and both held up well in water. I will definitely be buying Strength Tape again.

Pros
  • DESIGNED FOR ATHLETES StrengthTape was created to support common athletic sport injuries & conditions of the back, shoulder, knee, elbow—and more—for up to 7 days. Designed to apply over & around injured areas to support muscles & joints during recovery.
Cons
  • The tape may not hold up well in water or during swimming

Sweat made tape come off

Tape came off after 30 minutes around my wrist and arm. My sweat lifted off about 30% of tape.Easy to apply and feels comfortable. I needed something that would limit my movement so tape was not ideal. This would be better used to knee or thigh, hamstring and shoulder injuries.

Pros
  • ‎6315-510PC
Cons
  • The tape may not provide enough compression for certain injuries

Peels off fast on my review.

I have hypermobile joints due to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and have recently started using KT tapes for knee/ankle support. Note that while this review regards overall product performance, YMMV, because due to atypical skin elasticit, I have always had difficulty with adhesive working, even kinds as strong as post-surgical wound tape used in a hospital setting. Bandaids peel off in mere minutes, first aid tape floats away, and even duct tape won't stick to me for long (not that I'm using that for

Pros
  • I travel so the size of the box is good and I don't need anything to cut the length is good.
Cons
  • The tape may not provide enough support for severe injuries

Excellent joint stabilization with a few annoyances

I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a collagen deficiency condition that causes severe joint problems & frequent subluxations & dislocations. I've always used sturdy/expensive braces for this reason. I saw this, & thought I'd give it a shot out of curiosity. Wow, was I shocked. This tape stabilizes my joints better than any brace I've ever tried. There are a few minor aspects that keep me from giving it five stars. But note that in regards to how well it works, it would be five stars.(1) The…

Pros
  • The tape is waterproof, allowing for use during water sports
Cons
  • The tape may not be ideal for all types of strain or sprain injuries

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I highly recommend.

Have had a torn Rotator Cuff injury - never surgically repaired for over 14 years along with Achilles' tendon injury and a couple of broken foot bones . I have used this tape for many years for healing those injuries and found relief from pain and can return to almost normal functioning. The advantage is the ability to shower while wearing and it remains in place for at least 6 days on average. I also have very sensitive skin when it comes to adhesives but this tape does not produce a negative…

Pros
  • Helps prevent muscle strains and sprains
Cons
  • The tape may not be as effective when used for chronic injuries over time

Excellent! on my review.

This has eliminated the sharp stabbing pain in my knee cap. Super happy for such a simple solution! My PT recommended this and I’m sold for life!

Pros
  • Helps improve flexibility and range of motion
Cons
  • The tape may not be as effective for preventing further injury as it is for treating existing ones
