Awesome - I wish I had known that sooner!

Almost didn't want to spend money on it but it's amazing. I saw this in a BuzzFeed article, and we eat a lot of jalapeno peppers (especially poppers, which take a little time to remove the seeds). This tool is worth the money! Removes jalapeno seeds in seconds. Definitely saves time!

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Does its job in the kitchen and dining room

Corer does its job... but the design is weird. When I core a pepper, the sharp point on the back of the blade never touches the pepper. The tip is rounded like a spoon. If it were sharper and serrated along the edge it would be more effective. I cut about 75 jalapenos and it worked.

  • Cool

  • Not bad

My wife loves this. for fruit and veg tools

My wife makes salsa and the seeds got on her hands quite a lot during preparation and she had to deal with burns. Since I bought her this, she rarely has problems with seeds. I've tried it several times and it's very easy to use. Didn't rate "durability" as I've only had it a short time, but it's well made and I expect a good rating.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Infuriates

Best Pepper Core Tool

This tool is better for removing the jalapeno core than the round one. This is because it looks more like a paring knife. The teeth could be sharper. The handle is a good size, both in length and girth. I still find a paring knife useful when paired with this coring tool. However, this coring tool is useful for the stated purpose of coring jalapeno pepper.

Easy jalapenos made in no time!

I've been making stuffed jalapenos for years and this is the best kitchen tool I've ever used for the task! With smooth movements, the jagged edges make it easy to completely separate the core and kernels. The convex surface of the blade also has a thin scraper that removes any dangling pith that is still inside the pepper. The grip is comfortable and the double-serrated edges allow the center punch to be used with both right and left hands. I loved using mine so much I bought another one as a…

Works perfectly! suitable for kitchen and dining room

Great tool! When I first tried to stone a jalapeno, I tried different knives and other sharp tools I could find in the kitchen. In the end, the Swiss Army Knife was the best option for me, but it was far from ideal. It took forever, made a huge mess, and no matter how careful I was, I still ripped the tops of the jalapeno peppers. I was determined to find the best way to make the silly jalapeno seed. I've read Revain reviews on several different jalapeno cutters and I'm so glad I chose this…

Good product! - Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

This item is AWESOME! I add jalapeno to almost everything I cook and it's always been such a pain! When I was younger I left the innards in and pepper sprayed me and my boyfriend quite a bit in our apartment and then I found out that I have to take everything away so I don't feel like you're being pepper sprayed, haha It hurt so much to gut jalapenos and my fingers always covered them in juice and my eyes always burned! This thing really saved me! Just pop off the top, pop in, twist and flip…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Works great - could use a more ergonomic grip

This is a simple, strong, handy little jalapeno core tool perfect for carving peppers for poppers. What used to be a huge task of blanching, slicing and scraping with a spoon is now done in minutes, with fresh peppers keeping them crispy! Sometimes it takes more than one pass to extract all of the pulp, but it's not difficult to use. The only thing I don't like about it, and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that the handle is just part of the blade and your hand slides up and down…
