I've been making stuffed jalapenos for years and this is the best kitchen tool I've ever used for the task! With smooth movements, the jagged edges make it easy to completely separate the core and kernels. The convex surface of the blade also has a thin scraper that removes any dangling pith that is still inside the pepper. The grip is comfortable and the double-serrated edges allow the center punch to be used with both right and left hands. I loved using mine so much I bought another one as a gift for my brother. This is a special kitchen gadget that meets, if not exceeds, all exceptions.
