Very good for rough plumbing

I bought this diverter because I was looking for something that would work better than the Kohler spouts I bought. They seem to be getting worse and worse. The last two I bought had more water leaking out than going into the showerhead. This diverter doesn't match the other Kohler plumbers I have, but it works. much better than Kohler's. It's a very fluid motion where you pull the lever up so the water rises to the shower head and all but a few drops make the journey.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Nothing

Glad I found this! in sinks and bath spouts

Our master bath features gleaming brass fixtures. Apparently, according to several stores we tried to find replacements at, shiny brass isn't "in" anymore. We were advised to search the internet and stock up on fixtures that may need replacing. This bathtub spout is the same one we have now. Eventually, the switches in the tub spouts seem to loosen up, allowing water to flow out of the spout and shower at the same time. So --- we bought this spout to replace the one we have now if needed.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Output quality and cost justify expectations!

First review - no problems, looks great, easy to install and works very well. I consider it a great value. It is important to note that this is a threaded front spout, not a slip-on spout. We'll have to wait and see how durable the oiled bronze finish is. I know that soon mineral deposits will form in him due to the water from My Well, so that the effect of his diverter will gradually wear off. Hopefully a squirt of lime will keep this part clean when the tub is cleaned. We'll be in touch later

Metal part, LOTS of water

This looks and feels like a very good piece of equipment. This is a screw type that requires approximately 4 1/2 inch tubing with a threaded end to install properly. If you don't have one you will need to look at other jigs to find a proper fit and installation as this will not work. The only downside, for me at least, is how much water comes out of this thing as it spins. on the. When I pull the handle all the way out (that's the Moenttrol style water control) the water comes out of this thing

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Does what it's supposed to do

Updated 29 July 2016 I had to downgrade from excellent to poor because it had been less than 2 years since the water stopped flowing from the tub to the shower. I bought 2 of these for 2 bathrooms but 1 already needs to be replaced. I'll look around for another brand. I used this spout to replace one where the diverter wasn't "diverting" properly, allowing some water to flow into the shower and some water into the tub. Okay, just call me naive, but I had no idea the tub spout switch was…

Pros
  • Beautifully packaged
Cons
  • Ribbon
