RUST after 1 hand wash.

My scissors started to rust after ONE hand wash. As these are kitchen scissors, they can be used to cut meat, fish, vegetables, etc., and most importantly, should be hand washed after use. I will throw them away. I do not recommend these scissors - find another one! Grip and ease of cutting are good. Customer Service: Please correct your quality control.

Hate to Admit it - Cutlery & Knife Accessories

I've been a consumer rights activist for decades and I'm a keen eye on quality, or lack thereof. My instinct was that this cheap thing was cheap; but I bought it despite my suspicions. Well, to my great amazement, my wife thinks it's great. However, I do not give such 5-star products more than 4 stars because the 5-star category is too often polluted by prejudice from friends, family and company employees.

Rusted in less than 60 days

I want to write a review about the color of these kitchen scissors because they are cute. Unfortunately I am writing this to warn you before buying. I've hardly used them and they rust. This is madness. In the past I've had kitchen shears for years and had to part with them just because the handle became uncomfortable or they became loose and dull. RUST?! I mean, they're clearly not stainless steel, which is what good kitchen utensils should be. Save your tetanus shot and buy something else.

comfortable and yet "reliable "

Comfortable to hold, especially for large hands. (The finger holes are big enough for big hands) The rubber grips have worked flawlessly in the dishwasher so far. We have a few, cuts well and smoothly. I thought of any negatives, I just don't feel like there's really anything to complain about. So far they have been fine. To each their own of course but if I were asked based on this pair I would say I would definitely recommend them for larger hands but they are comfortable and easy to hold for

Strong, durable and reliable

This is my second pair and I'm still using the first one I've had for about 8 years. I bought another one because I use the first one a lot on the road. It is excellent for cutting lawns and plastic sheeting. Really everything. My wife didn't like that I brought the old couple into the kitchen. And at my age, I think it's good to have more than one item that you use a lot and lose temporarily. The scissors are strong and the blades do not bend. My medium sized hand fits naturally and…

The best kitchen scissors

These are the best kitchen scissors I've ever had. I've just ordered two more for myself as my pair is now being kept in camping gear. I also bought a pair for my friend whose kitchen shears suck and won't cut paper let alone chicken bones or plastic wrap. Seriously, they cut everything and last a long time. I've had a pair for 4 years, use them at least a couple of times a week and they still look and cut like new. They can also be washed in the dishwasher, I put them on the cutlery tray on…

Excellent scissors for trash

disappear I don't understand how these scissors get more stars: they are trash. If I were in the position of KitchenAid - assuming it isn't a counterfeit - I would be concerned about brand damage. Seriously, they don't even cut paper. I've tried using them for everything from cutting scallions to trimming thin vinyl. They don't cut. You know how sometimes you have to put pressure on the scissors while using them by pulling your thumb up towards your palm to make the scissors work "free"? Yes…
